System of a Down - System of a Down Released: June 30th, 1998
Favorite Tracks: Darts, CUBErt, War?
I think this may be my favorite nu-metal album, it's pretty timeless in my opinion. I prefer the earlier, more violent style SOAD had back then, but all their music is good. Just consistently loud and fun.

Slipknot - Slipknot Released: June 29th, 1999
Favorite Tracks: Eyeless, (sic) - Molt Injected Mix, Surfacing
14 year old me loved this album, and honestly although I don't listen to Slipknot anymore I still think its very good. Loved when they were all spooky and trying to freak people out, now they're just middle aged dudes with names that everyone knows but that's natural I guess.

Deftones - Adrenaline Released: October 3rd, 1995
Favorite Tracks: Root, 7 Words, Engine No.9
I'm gonna talk about this record bc I feel this is their most nu-metally album. Maybe my 2nd fav Deftones album, I just like how harsh and sorta unrefined it sounds, it's cool.

Korn - Issues Released: November 9th, 1999
Favorite Tracks: Let's Get This Party Started, Make Me Bad, Hey Daddy
My favorite Korn album, but I like their selftitled a lot too. Tbh it took me a long time to like Korn, and even then they are not my favorite but I've come to like quite a few of their songs. I think they're good at setting atmospheres in their songs.

Kittie - Spit Released: January 11th, 2000
Favorite Tracks: Brackish, Get Off, Choke
I haven't listened to a single other Kittie song besides the ones on this album, but this one is pretty cool. The instrumentals and vocals are really good, and overall I enjoyed this one. Don't know about any other project of theirs though.
