Welcome to my website!
This is my about me page for me, Alex and my website, HappyMonkey. This is pretty much my first time coding except for a Comp Sci class I took sophomore year (that I hated) and I've learned that it (or html at least) is a lot of fun!
The site name, HappyMonkey, comes from what I've called myself online since I was 3. One night my dad and I set up an account for me on his Xbox 360 and he chose the name for me. I just always liked the name and never felt a reason to choose something else, so that's me, HappyMonkey!
From the start being able to write something and have it appear on a website just makes me happy and proud; The first time I put a marquee on my page I legit just stared at it move in excitement.
I made this page after a combination of looking at other neocities pages, playing Hypnospace Outlaw, watching Serial Experiments: Lain and wondering about what "The Wired" could be like, and being obsessed with the 2000s era of everything really, like music, the internet, clothing and stuff like frutiger aero.
So here it is, my website! This is a big hobby of mine, along with surfing the web. I also play guitar, draw (both traditional and digital), game, and watch youtube (95% of it is Jerma)
